How do I resolve the error 3704, "Operation is not allowed
when the object is closed"?

to install the trading program CD, I get an error 2889? What should

open the program, I get an error 3706, "Provider cannot be
found it may not be properly installed". What should I do?

2147467259, "Invalid argument" when downloading Data Files.

How do I resolve the error 3704, "Operation is not allowed
when the object is closed"? |

Make sure that the your trading program is closed,
and perform the following:
- Place the trading program CD in the drive and cancel any installation
that starts.
- Open MY COMPUTER from the desktop.
- Then RIGHT CLICK on the trading program CD
drive and click on OPEN.
On the trading program CD there is a directory called Support.
This directory contains a lot of support files that can be reinstalled.
They may have been accidentally deleted or a program may have written
over files that are used by the Trading Program.
- Find and run the file called jet40sp3_comp.exe file
by double clicking on it.

When I try to install the trading program CD, I get an error

You need to run Internet Explorer 6 set up from the trading program
CD. To do this, perform the following:
- Place the trading program CD in the drive and cancel or close
any installation window that starts or opens.
- Open MY COMPUTER from the screen of your computer.
Your desktop is where you can see all of the icons, when your
computer first opens.
- Then RIGHT CLICK on the trading program CD
drive and click on OPEN.
- Double click on the IE6-SP1 Install folder and then double
click on the file iesetup.exe.
This will start the installation for you.

On trying to open the program for the first time, I get an error
3706, "Provider cannot be found it may not be properly installed".
What should I do? |

Please follow these instructions. Make sure that the your program
is closed.
- Place the trading program CD in the drive and cancel any installation
that starts.
- Open MY COMPUTER from the desktop.
- Then RIGHT CLICK on the trading program CD
drive and click on OPEN.
On the trading program CD there is a directory called Support.
This directory contains a lot of support files that can be reinstalled.
They may have been accidentally deleted or a program may have written
over files that are used by the Trading Program.
- Right click on this folder and click on Copy.
- Now close the My Computer window.
- Right click on the desk top
- Then click on Paste.
- Double click the Support folder.
- Locate a file called MDAC_27, and double click
on it to run it. ( if using Windows XP, please MDAC_28 )
- Now locate the file called JET40Sp3_Comp and
double click to run it.
When completed, the Trading Program is ready to try again.

I get an error 2147467259, "Invalid argument" when
downloading Data Files. What should I do? |

Via the Help Desk or Support tab, click the Maintenance
button and then click the Optimise Database
Button. When this has completed, Shutdown the program
and re-open it again, or click the Refresh Price Data
Dates button. Now you can Resume the download operation.
