#1 Do I have to uninstall the old program before putting the new version on?

Yes. Just follow the instructions supplied with your new CDs.

#2 How do I remove the Blue Chip Trader program from my computer?

Ensure all programs are closed on your computer, and follow the steps below:

Click on the Start Menu and click on Settings.
Click on Control Panel.
Then double-click on Add/Remove Programs.
Remove the Blue Chip Trader and Blue Chip Trader Advanced Charting programs from the list of programs, by clicking on each in turn, and then clicking Remove, and following the prompts.
Now delete the Microcorp folder, by double clicking on My Computer, on the desktop, then double clicking on the ( C: ) drive and double clicking on Program Files. Now locate the folder called Bluechip and RIGHT click on it, then click on DELETE from the menu.

#3 How do I remove the program and stock market database from my computer?

Ensure all programs are closed on your computer, and follow the steps below:

Click on the Start Menu.
Click on Settings.
Click on Control Panel.
Then double-click on Add/Remove Programs.
Remove the database and trading programs from your computer.
Now delete the STARTRADER/GOGECKO/MICROCORP folder from your computer, by double clicking on My Computer, on the desktop, then double clicking on the ( C: ) drive and double clicking on Program Files.

#4 Can I just delete the program from my desktop?

No, this will only delete the shortcut to the program. You need to follow the correct procedure to remove the program completely from your system.
